A global workforce view

For the past five years, ADP Research has surveyed workers around the globe to learn about their on-the-job experiences. This work has illuminated the world’s journey through a deep economic downturn, the subsequent cost-of-living crisis and monumental change tied to remote and hybrid work.

In South Africa, despite economic pressures, workers remain optimistic. Our findings show that South African workers lead the world in engagement, with strong belief in the positive impact of AI and a growing sense of fairness in pay. This is a region that continues to adapt, upskill, and thrive in the face of challenge.
